Honey Doo glue gives 15% greater bond strength over other polyurethane glues, and is great for a wide variety of projects! It’s perfect to use to bond your mosaic items to wood, metal, brick, glass or tile. Honey Doo utilizes a moisture curing bond that allows it to create a stronger, longer lasting bond. Simply add a light coat of water from a damp cloth or spray bottle to one surface, apply Honey Doo to the other surface, and mate. This glue takes about 2-3 hours to cure, though 24 hours is recommended for a full cure. Come by The Glass Galleria today to learn more about this super-strong Honey Doo glue, and take home a bottle to use on your next project!
Mosaic Adhesive is a simple and easy way to create a mosaic design, providing an alternative from the conventional glue method, and eliminates the waiting game while your glue dries! This Mosaic Adhesive film is clear, allowing you to plan and trace your mosaic pattern with precision, and the film is dry to the touch, eliminating the messy, sticky fingers that usually occur with traditional mosaic glues. This Mosaic Adhesive is also easy to use! Once you’ve arranged your mosaic pattern, use a heat gun to heat and bond — this can be done in sections, or you can bond the entire sheet at once, it’s up to you! Once the film has cooled, it is cured, and ready to be placed on a variety of substrates, including wood, glass, particle board, drywall, or medium density fiberboard (MDF). This Mosaic Adhesive is versatile enough to use in different projects as well: try using it to adhere jewelry findings to glass cabochons or pendants with a heat gun or soldering iron. This versatile product is available now at The Glass Galleria, so come by to learn more about this product and get some inspiration for your next project!
Groutless Mosaic Adhesive allows you to save time by combining gluing and grouting into one quick and painless step! This adhesive film is non-toxic, and can be cut to fit any project, large or small! Cut the Groutless Mosaic Adhesive to cover your mosaic substrate and then place your tiles on top to build your mosaic pattern. Once your tiles are in place, use a heat gun and heat the project from 6″ – 8″ away. As the adhesive begins to melt, use a hand tool to apply pressure the tiles and allow the adhesive to fill the gaps between the tiles. Once you’ve finished heating, you’ll have a short time to adjust any tiles, if necessary. Once the adhesive has cooled completely, it has cured, and your project is finished! This Groutless Mosaic Adhesive works great for projects small and large, and eliminates the hassle of mixing, applying and curing grout the traditional way! This product goes great with The Glass Galleria’s wide variety of glass pre-cut mosaic shapes, mirror tiles, and bulk glass. Stop in today to check out this new product and make your next mosaic project a breeze with Groutless Mosaic Adhesive!

New Product at The Glass Galleria: Bottle Cutter by Bottle Works!

What’s old is new and beautiful again with The Glass Galleria’s newest product feature, the Bottle Cutter by Bottle Works!
This bottle cutter recycles old glass bottles of all sizes into functional, beautiful projects that you can use around your home! It cuts bottles by using a score line and heat/cold technique to break the glass, and the cutter can accommodate bottles up to a gallon size or larger, ensuring that no glass bottle will ever be without a second use!
The cutter is relatively easy to use, and should be no problem for an intermediate-level hobbyist to master quickly. Simply etch, heat, cool and separate for a clean cut every time. The cutter has adjustable rollers to accommodate large or small bottles, and it comes with a detailed instruction booklet that contains several project ideas to help you recycle that old soda, wine, or milk bottle. You can utilize copper foil or fusing techniques to create the bottle project of your dreams!
Try cutting off the bottom of a wine bottle and slump fuse to create a one of a kind cheese plate. Or, invert the tops and bottoms of bottles and solder together to make drinking goblets. To create bottle-art, such as glass flowers or window pendants, the cutter can be used to cut strips of glass, which then can be foiled and soldered together! Instructions for these projects and more can be found in the accompanying pamphlet, which gives detailed directions for a wide variety of bottle-art projects!
To learn more, stop by The Glass Galleria today to see the Bottle Cutter, learn how it works, and get some inspiration for your next recycled glass project!
